Dawson's Creek star James Van Der Beek, who opened on his stage three colon cancer last week, has said the first symptoms of this dreaded disease were tricky. James, 47, who has started his treatment, said he noticed bowel changes initially but dismissed them as due to drinking lots of coffee.
