Jamia forms 7-member panel amid student hunger strike

Jamia Millia Islamia constituted a seven-member high-level committee on October 18 to engage with protesting students, examine their demands, and restore campus normalcy. The panel follows a hunger strike over student grievances, including demands for student union elections discontinued since 2006. The Dean of Students' Welfare will convene meetings and submit a report to the Vice-Chancellor.
