The Jammu-Srinagar Vande Bharat train is set to become the first of its kind to operate in sub-zero conditions. Unlike the standard Vande Bharat trains seen across India, this new variant has been purpose-built for the extreme weather and mountainous terrain of Jammu and Kashmir. This train stands apart for its ability to function in temperatures as low as -20°C.
