The Vande Bharat Express will commence service between Jammu and Srinagar on March 1, offering direct access without the need to transfer at Katra. This extension aims to simplify travel to the Kashmir Valley, significantly reducing journey times to approximately five hours. The service will also feature 20 coaches to accommodate increasing passenger demand.
