The Kami-Shirataki railway station in Japan is used by just one passenger, a girl who uses the train halting at the station to commute to school. Japan Railways earlier planned to shut the station but decided against it to keep the station running till the girl graduates. Interestingly, a special rail schedule was initiated to cater to the girl's timings.
