Japan's government has eliminated the use of floppy disks in all its systems. This comes two years after the country declared a "war" on floppy disks and other retro technology, and announced plans to phase them out. "We have won the war on floppy disks on June 28!" Digital Minister Taro Kono said on Wednesday.
