Japan's H3 rocket fails during launch of navigation satellite

A Japanese H3 rocket couldn't put a government-run QZS-5 navigation satellite into its planned orbit due to engine trouble, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency said on Monday. The rocket, built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, was launched from the Tanegashima Space Centre. "However, the second stage engine's second ignition failed to start normally and shut down prematurely," the agency said.
