Japan is preparing to send a delegation of government officials to Greenland to evaluate extraction of deposits of rare earth elements, a Nikkei report said on Sunday. The report added that Japan is seeking to help Danish companies invest in rare-earth projects. This comes after China, which accounts for 70% of global rare earth production, imposed export restrictions.
