Japan to fully lift COVID-19 restrictions on Mar 21 as cases decline

Amid declining COVID-19 cases in the country, Japan's PM Fumio Kishida on Wednesday announced plans to fully lift COVID-19 related restrictions on March 21. "This will be a transitional period so that we can return to our normal daily lives...by taking maximum precautions" Now, larger gatherings will be allowed for people with vaccination records and negative virus tests, he added.
