Japan to take 8K images of Mars, its moons during upcoming mission

Japanese space agency JAXA announced it's developing a "Super Hi-Vision Camera" capable of filming 8K images in space for its Martian Moons eXploration (MMX) mission. JAXA aims to capture images of Mars and its moons, Phobos and Deimos. The MMX spacecraft is scheduled to be launched in JFY 2024 and will land on Phobos to collect "sand" from its surface.
