Japanese scientists grow hair in mice at record rate

Japanese scientists have developed a potential hair regrowth mechanism, cultivating 5,000 hair follicle germs, which successfully grew hair after transplantation onto mice. Several reports claimed the silicon compound used in the study was the same as in oil fryers at McDonald's outlets. However, scientists refuted misinterpretations of their work and denied consuming fries could cure baldness.
