Japanese town deploys robot wolves to deter wild bears

The Japanese town of Takikawa has deployed robot wolves to scare away bears that have been destroying crops. The robot is programmed to shake its head and emit wolfish noises when it senses motion. According to Japan's broadcaster NHK, bear sightings are at a five-year high in the region and dozens of attacks have taken place this year.
