Japanese woman forced to take pregnancy test before boarding flight to US

A 25-year-old woman from Japan was forced to take a pregnancy test before she was allowed to board a flight to US island Saipan. The airline said it was required to ensure "US immigration laws weren't being undermined". Saipan has seen a growth in "birth tourism", whereby pregnant women intentionally give birth there to gain US citizenship for their children.
