SoftBank Founder Masayoshi Son lost over $130 million (₹900 crore) in a personal bet on Bitcoin last year, according to a Wall Street Journal report. He reportedly bought Bitcoin in late 2017 around the time of its record high of over $19,000 and sold in early 2018 after Bitcoin had plummeted. Son is Japan's second-richest person with a $24-billion fortune.
