The ED flagged a ₹1-crore payment made to actor Jayasurya and his wife Saritha in connection to the Save Box app fraud case. In a public statement, Jayasurya wrote, "Neither I nor my wife have received any summons from ED...I'm an ordinary citizen who conducts all financial transactions legally and responsibly pays correct taxes to the public treasury."
