JD(U) and BJP have split the 243 seats for the Bihar Assembly Elections with BJP getting to field candidates on 121 seats while JD(U) is getting 122 seats, CM Nitish Kumar announced on Tuesday. Of the JD(U)'s share, seven seats will go to Jitan Ram Manjhi's HAM. Meanwhile, BJP will give some seats to Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP).
