JDU's Lalan Singh, during a speech in Mokama constituency of Bihar, allegedly said some people shouldn't be allowed to leave their homes on voting day. "If they plead too much...then take them with you and, after voting, bring them back home," he reportedly said. The Election Commission issued a notice to Lalan, giving him 24 hours to reply.
