Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos' personal VC fund, Bezos Expeditions, participated in Series B funding of fintech startup Chipper Cash. The US-based startup raised $30 million led by Ribbit Capital. This is the first startup investment in Africa by Bezos' fund, media reports said. Chipper Cash offers mobile-based P2P payment services in seven African countries, including Rwanda, South Africa and Kenya.
