Jeremy Siegel stays bullish but sees near-term policy risks ahead

Wharton economist Jeremy Siegel said markets could be materially moved in January by three policy risks: the chance of a US government shutdown, President Trump upcoming choice for Federal Reserve chair, and a Supreme Court ruling on tariffs. Despite these risks, Siegel said he remains constructive on the US economy and equity markets in 2026.
