Jessica Lal murder convict Manu Sharma has been transferred to an open jail due to his "good conduct", jail officials said. Sharma has been ordered to work with an NGO which works towards the rehabilitation of prisoners and their children. Sharma had been found guilty of shooting Jessica for refusing to serve him a drink past midnight in 1999.
