Air carrier Jet Airways on Saturday reported its highest-ever quarterly profit of ₹467 crore for the quarter ended December, registering a 640% profit growth compared to the year-ago period. The sales for the quarter increased 7.77% to ₹5,444 crore. The rise in profits was attributed to lower fuel prices, higher airline traffic and enhanced aircraft utilisation.
