Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren was elected as the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party's president during its 13th central convention on Tuesday. "I humbly accept this responsibility...I'll become the voice of...every poor...of Jharkhand," Soren posted on X. Earlier, CM Hemant was JMM's executive president while his father, Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren, had been JMM's president for the last 38 years.
