Defender Sandesh Jhingan will become the first Indian national team footballer to play in Croatian top-tier league Prva HNL after joining HNK Sibenik, the club announced on Wednesday. The 28-year-old played for ATK Mohun Bagan last season in the Indian Super League. Jhingan was named India's 'Footballer of the Year' last month. "This [move] will enhance my game," said Jhingan.
