Billionaire investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was on chronic dialysis due to a chronic kidney disease and had recently undergone an angioplasty, Doctor Pratit Samdani of Breach Candy Hospital said. Jhunjhunwala, who was also diabetic, was responding well, the doctor added. He passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest and was brought dead to the Mumbai hospital on Sunday morning.
