Tigresses of Uttarakhand's Jim Corbett National Park were hailed on Mother's Day for their key contribution in sustaining tiger population in changing forest conditions. "When a tigress gives birth, they're ready to do everything for their cubs," said a park warden. Jim Corbett is considered one of the most successful tiger reserves, with a reported population of over 260 tigers.
