Jio IPO becomes first globally to cross 1 crore applications

Jio Platforms' ₹30,213-crore IPO has become the first public issue globally to receive over one crore applications. With a few hours remaining before the issue closes, the number could rise further. India's largest IPO drew bids for 136.32 crore shares against 19.75 crore shares on offer as of 12:03 pm on Friday, marking an overall subscription of nearly seven times.
