JK Cement's wholly-owned subsidiary JK Paints and Coatings is acquiring a 60% stake in Rajasthan-based Acro Paints for ₹153 crore. "The remaining 40% shall be acquired over a period of 12 months as per the definitive agreement entered between the parties," a joint statement said. With this acquisition, JK Cement has made its foray into the paints business.
