The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) in Delhi is closely related to the defence forces and will be celebrating the Surgical Strike Day on September 29, Vice Chancellor M Jagadesh Kumar said on Friday. "When our alumni go and fight for us at the borders, as a university, we must recognise their contribution," he added.
