Joby Aviation agreed to buy a ready-to-use 700,000-square-foot facility in Dayton, Ohio, for $61.5 million as it prepares to double electric air-taxi production to four aircraft per month by 2027. The site, expected to begin operations this year, will support expansion alongside existing Joby plants. Shares slipped over 1% after the announcement.
