short by Garima Garg / on Sunday, 9 August, 2026
Ex-US President Joe Biden's prostate cancer has "spread, metastasised into his bones and further", his son Hunter Biden said. He described his father's condition as "very painful and very debilitating", while adding, "He's still doing his thing." Biden, 83, disclosed his diagnosis in May 2025, four months after leaving office. He's the oldest person to have served as US president.
