Joe Root scraps England's midnight curfew in first move as captain
Joe Root has scrapped England’s midnight curfew after returning as Test captain. Root said he doesn't believe curfews work and wants players to take responsibility for their actions. The rule had restricted England players from staying out beyond midnight during tours. "The players got to feel...they can be grown adults and make good, strong decisions off the field," Root said.
