A Minnesota jury ordered Johnson & Johnson to pay $65.5 million to 37-year-old Anna Jean Houghton Carley, who developed mesothelioma after using its talcum powder. Jurors found the company failed to warn consumers about asbestos risks. J&J denied the claims, calling the science flawed, and said it will appeal amid mounting talc lawsuits nationwide.
