Johnson announces retirement from int'l cricket

Australian fast bowler Mitchell Johnson announced that he will retire from international cricket immediately after the second Test against New Zealand concludes on Tuesday. The fourth-highest wicket-taker for Australia in Tests has claimed 587 wickets in all formats since his debut in 2005. The two-time World Cup winner was also the ICC player of the year in 2009 and 2014.
