Jordan Football Association President Ali Al Hussein has accused FIFA of "blackmail". He cited "enormous hurdles" Jordan had to face during World Cup 2026 preparations due to budget constraints, US tax and pending prize money from FIFA event, adding FIFA never supported. He claimed that he was recently told Jordan would receive help if he backed Gianni Infantino.
