Journalist Ravi Nair gets bail in Adani defamation case

A Gandhinagar sessions court granted regular bail to journalist Ravi Nair on Thursday, a week after he was sent to judicial custody. Nair was convicted of criminal defamation in February following a complaint by Adani Enterprises Ltd over allegedly false tweets damaging the Adani Group's reputation. The Gujarat High Court had earlier refused interim relief.
