The CBI registered an espionage case against freelance journalist Vivek Raghuvanshi for allegedly collecting sensitive information about defence projects of DRDO and their progress, an official said. He is accused of sharing information, including details related to future procurements of Indian Armed Forces, with intelligence agencies of foreign nations. He was booked under Official Secrets Act.
