Union Health Minister JP Nadda assured Kerala of 100 MBBS seats at K Karunakaran Memorial Government Medical College from the next academic session and reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to establishing an AIIMS in the state. He also promised support for trauma centres, HPV vaccination, mental healthcare upgrades, and enhanced NHM funding.
