JPMorgan client who lost $50 mn amid dementia loses legal battle

A US judge has dismissed a lawsuit filed by Peter Doelger and his wife who held JPMorgan responsible for the loss of their $50 million wealth. The lawsuit claimed JPMorgan kept Peter invested in inappropriate investments despite his reduced ability to understand his portfolio because of dementia. The judge said the family didn't notify the investment bank about Peter's condition.
