JSW Steel entered a 50:50 joint venture (JV) with POSCO to set up a 6 MTPA steel plant in Odisha. The project includes steelmaking, hot rolling and coating facilities, targeting automotive steel. The plant is expected by 2031. The partnership combines POSCO technology with JSW execution, strengthening India's steel ecosystem and product capabilities.
