Jubilant FoodWorks which operates Domino's and Popeyes among others, had its consolidated revenue at ₹2,107 crore, denoting a 33.9% rise YoY for the Q4 of FY2025, an exchange filing stated. The filing noted that Jubilant's consolidated revenue from operations grew to ₹8,145.5 crore, a 44% YoY increase in FY2025. Meanwhile, its standalone revenue rose by 14.3% YoY to ₹6,104.7 crore.

After US President Donald Trump raised tariffs imposed on China to 104%, Chinese Premier Li Qiang said the country has ample policy tools to "fully offset" any negative external shocks. He also reiterated his optimism about growth of the world's second-largest economy in 2025. Trump raised tariffs after China retaliated to US' 34% tariffs with equivalent tariffs on US goods.

US President Donald Trump reiterated that "major tariffs" on pharmaceutical imports will be announced by the US "very shortly". He said, "Once we do that, they will come rushing back to our country...The advantage we have over everybody is that we're the big market." Notably, as of 2024, India has emerged as the world's largest supplier of generic medicines.

Australian cricketer Will Pucovski has retired at 27 due to concussion. Pucovski hadn't played since March 2024 when he suffered a severe concussion after he was hit in a Sheffield Shield game. He said, "I really struggle with things on my left side. If I've things happening in my left I feel sick and dizzy. I struggle with motion sickness."

US President Donald Trump-led administration has raised tariffs on Chinese goods to 104%, White House said. The new tariffs will be effective from April 9. The reported move comes after Trump on Monday threatened to impose additional tariffs on Chinese imports if the Asian country didn't withdraw its 34% retaliatory tariffs.

WHO chief Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus has said that the next pandemic is inevitable. "It could happen in 20 years or more, or it could happen tomorrow. But it will happen, and either way, we must be ready," he added. "This is not a theoretical risk; it is an epidemiological certainty," Ghebreyesus asserted.

Congress leader P Chidambaram was rushed to hospital after he fainted at the Sabarmati Ashram in Gujarat on Tuesday. The 75-year-old former Finance Minister was attending an event at the ashram when he fell unconscious reportedly due to heat exhaustion. A video has also surfaced showing party workers carrying him to an ambulance.

LSG fast bowler Shardul Thakur on Tuesday bowled the joint-longest over in IPL. The 33-year-old bowled a total of 11 deliveries in his third over against KKR. Shardul bowled five wide balls before delivering the first legal ball. Mohammed Siraj and Tushar Deshpande have also bowled 11-ball overs in IPL.
