Judge who faced action for awarding 22 death penalties in UP sentences another man to death

After 100 murder cases pending before UP's Muzaffarnagar judge Ravi Kumar Diwakar were transferred following his 22 death sentences in four months, judge Diwakar has sentenced another man to death. The 38-year-old man named Nadeem had burnt his 23-year-old wife Shahzadi alive in 2018. The judge called the killing "extremely brutal and barbaric", classifying it in 'rarest of rare' category.
