CJI DY Chandrachud has said judges are not "gallivanting or goofing up even on vacation" and remain committed to their work. He said verdicts define the country for decades but judges hardly get time to think or read law. "Do you just want them to be merely a mechanical machine in the disposal of the cases," he asked.
