A Class 10 student in Ahmedabad died of injuries a day after he was stabbed by a Class 8 student. The news of the death sparked protests and school vandalism by parents, ABVP activists and local communities. The victim had allegedly stepped out of school building when the accused and other boys surrounded and attacked him following a verbal altercation.
