Just five minutes of daily brisk walking can cut death risk: Study

Just five extra minutes of brisk walking daily can significantly reduce mortality, said an international study from Norwegian School of Sport Sciences involving more than 135,000 people. Even small activity increases or reducing sedentary time by 30 minutes can lower deaths by 6-10%. Simple daily movement profoundly impacts public health, the study added.
