Speaking at an event, historian Adam Tooze said, "If you want to see a state in crisis today, just look at Pakistan." He stated that it is a very large diverse country with highly unstable politics, adding, "It is at the crosshairs of the climate crisis...with massive flooding that devastated Pakistan. It's also nuclear armed," he added.
