Once a major attraction that enthralled visitors with its synchronised display of music, lights and water, the Jwalamukhi musical fountain now lies abandoned, reflecting official apathy towards a once-prized tourism asset. Commissioned in 1993 with considerable enthusiasm, the fountain was modelled on the renowned musical fountains of Mysuru and equipped with advanced technology.
