K-RIDE invites ₹986-cr tenders for Bengaluru suburban rail project

The Bengaluru Suburban Rail Project is gaining momentum, with K-RIDE inviting tenders worth ₹986 crore for traction and power supply works. The package covers Corridor 2, Corridor 4 and the Soladevanahalli depot. The 148.17-km network will have 57 stations across four corridors, connecting Bengaluru with key suburban areas, including Devanahalli, Whitefield, Chikkabanavara and Rajanukunte.
