The state cabinet has approved a ₹307-crore project to upgrade the Outer Ring Road from Silk Board to KR Puram. The 17.01 km stretch will feature ten lanes, bus priority lanes, pedestrian and cycling paths, and high-tech bus stops. A skywalk under the metro line and relocation of the state data centre are also part of the plan.
