Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah wrote a letter to PM Narendra Modi claiming the inauguration ceremony of the Sigandur bridge and other infrastructure projects was organised by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways in Shivamogga on July 14 without consulting the state. He boycotted the event and termed the act a breach of protocol and the spirit of cooperative federalism.
