Just two days after a major reshuffle in the state police department, the Karnataka government on Thursday, 17 July, modified or cancelled some of the postings. The transfer of Dr Chandragupta, former IGP & Additional CP (Crimes), Bengaluru, has been modified, and he is now posted as IGP (Intelligence), Bengaluru. He was earlier posted as IGP, North Eastern Range, Kalaburagi.
